How to Convert CGPA to Percentage for Govt Jobs?
When filling out application forms for SSC CGL, UPSC, or Banking Exams, you are often required to enter your marks in “Percentage” even if your result is in CGPA or SGPA.
Common Conversion Formulas:
- CBSE (Class 10 & 12): CGPA x 9.5
- Engineering (AICTE/UGC): Usually CGPA x 10 (Check your university guidelines).
- Mumbai University: (CGPA x 7.1) + 11.
Important: Always verify the conversion formula printed on the back of your official Marksheet or Degree Certificate. Using the wrong formula can lead to document verification issues later.
